Contains the following types of materials: photographs, photo albums. Covers the following war: World War II (WWII), Korean War. Contains photographs of the following military units and organizations: 3rd Engineers; 29th Engineers; 405th Water Supply Battalion. General description of the collection: The Frank O. Bowman photograph collection consists of photos from his military career. His graduating class from USMA visited Europe and the battlefields of World War I (WWI) in 1919. One album of photos contains images of that tour. There is an album from his teaching ROTC at Auburn Polytechnic Institute, Alabama. In an album dated 1942-1944, there are numerous photos of the activities of the 405th Water Supply Battalion; the Fifth (5th) Army and General Mark Clark. The final album contains photos of Bowman's command as engineer chief of the FECOM in Korea and Okinawa.
